This book was written to help both parents and children ages 2.5 and up understand what a child is to expect when mom is expecting, as well as to positively redefine himself as a big brother. It is recommended to begin reading this book to your child during the third trimester, though if he is fully aware of the upcoming change earlier on, begin reading the book then as a tool to help him create more positive expectations towards the new reality.
